Join us for diving deeply into the practice of Esalen Massage as we move beyond the basics and into the advanced philosophy and practices that make Esalen Massage world renowned. Robin Fann-Costanzo and Peggy Horan have over 70 years combined experience in the healing arts and teaching, and are sure to bring you an inspiring and dynamic weekend of Advanced Esalen Massage practices.
As our massage practice evolves we are called to listen more deeply with all of our senses and become more present to what our clients bodies are telling us, so we can address deep holding patterns of stress, tension, and injury. You will be introduced to a variety of ways to approach the body in deeper, and more subtle ways, and to attune to what your client needs. Within the flow of the Esalen style, we will teach a variety of advanced techniques to address the individual needs of your clients. We will use the practice of Esalen massage to open and deepen our own self awareness, as we connect with our clients and ourselves.
This retreat will take place at the beautiful Wysteria Inn, in downtown Weaverville (10 minutes from Asheville), where you will feel like you are far from the rest of the world with the wonderful private gardens and workshop space. This week will be designed as a retreat, not only for learning, but for participants to focus on self care, self reflection, and rejuvenation. Healthy nutritious lunches will be provided each day, and we will have time to rest, be in nature, and connect with one another in a meaningful way.
Limited Housing is available on site on a first come first serve basis.
